Dating in Second Life

SL - Second Life, the land of dreams, Prince Charmings and Princess beauties. A land where everyone can custom design their characters and personalities. It is not always an easy road to find that perfect image for your avatar.  I think what amazed me the most was that so many of the women I've met over the years have had stories to tell of romance and broken hearts.  It is only recently that I heard someone say, she had stopped looking at SL as a dating platform.. Wow was I out of the loop, in 7 years if being in SL I never once thought of it as a place for dating.  Then I discovered the night life in SL and dancing.

Beware ladies, and men, dancing can be dangerous to your "health".  There are some smooth operators out there, they are wordsmiths and have practiced and honed their romancing to a master's skill. OK, maybe I am giving them too much credit, but believe me when I say that when you have been romanced by a pro... you become the star in your own romantic screen play.

Now I know why so many ladies and men I've met along the way have had their hearts broken.

Saturday nite - and what to do?

In SL there is always something going on if you know what you want to do. If you are tired of the same old thing, and going to places you always go, look around there are plenty of other venues for you to try out. Not that there is anything wrong with where you hang now, but variety is the spice of life.

Meet DJ Sugaree Rose

A lady with the gift of music.  She loves to put together sets that will have you enthralled and wanting more.  With a lot of years in Second Life, she has developed a sense of what "lovers" and "romantics" want to hear.  From nostalgia to blues and jazz, this lady will play them all.

This is her current venue sign, she's hot, she's sexy, but listen to me ladies, she a sister from head to toe.  Don't let the blue eyes fool you. Her versatility has her playing different clubs.  Here is a sampling of her scheduled dates.

Each one of these clubs are recognized established venues. Tango's and the Firehouse 59 clubs have been blogged here before. Of all the clubs listed, only Phat's Premier Jazz has a dress code that is formal.

We all have moments of wanting to just enjoy the music, to float along with the sounds of yesterday, or sing along with the ballads of today. DJ Sugaree takes requests, and she loves to banter with her fans. Get to know her, join her group so you know when and where she will be performing.

Charleston Lace Grand Ballroom

Charleston Lace Grand Ballroom~Jazz, Romance, and Dancing,  You've all read about this grand wonderful ballroom, and experienced some of the venues with us.  Today we heard that the great saxophonist Trow Boa was going to be on stage ... How could we miss an hour of wonderful sounds, and time in the ballroom meeting and dancing with friends.  We arrived to the silence of an empty ballroom, no Trow, no robots, just the delightful Charleston Lace hostess, Moani Namori aka Coffee.  LOL Coffee and I were not as good at filing the place as when Trow is there  Trow has the place jumping.  If you are not familiar with Trow's performances, please look up his schedule and check him out.  He is at the Charleston Lace Grand Ballroom most Fridays Trowzer Boa
