out.  It sure looks like a lot of fun.   Whether you try your hand at riding the bull, dancing or making new friends, you'll have a great time.

No way you keep your lady like looks when the bull gets wound up.  Starts slow and then gets faster.

Course problems can arise when they let Alo behind the bar  There is a DJ booth and a good size dance floor.

JK Style @ Designer Circle #72

Hollie sweater dress with a nice pair of boots (Sierra), the boots come in black or chocolate, and the sweater dress has a hud that gives you multiple choices, 12 in all.  for 75L I would say that is a B A R G A I N.

The Tania top and Keri Capri is another nice combination @ 55 L this is a steal.  We have been around checking other locals, and by far this is one of the nicest and best priced combos out right now.  Top has 6 color choices

and the capri's 3 color changes.  NOTE TRY THE DEMOS, we found these items to be on the small size.

Memories are made of this...

This was one of the first dance clubs I attended when I first came into SL. Wow, how nice to rediscover it again. The Blue Note Retro Jazz Lounge ~  I was so new I had stars in my eyes. The music, the ball gowns, the men in their tuxedos, everything seemed to be so romantically perfect.  LOL that was before I really learned what the ups and downs of SL were all about.

We have been searching for an outfit today for a Retro blog, word came down from head office (Q) she wanted  retro....So of course, when the boss speaks we "jump"....this is where we are at the moment 0==( OLD TIME PRIMS )==0 VINTAGE & RETRO FASHION  truly an amazing retail outlet.

We are looking for a rose tattoo... it seems that "back then" the "wild" one wore tats. We already found hair, but who knows, we might have to take Q's "purse' away from her. This place has everything you can think of, hair, skins, shapes, eyes, of course clothes.  For the role play on the depression sim, this is the place to shop.  Remember this poodle hairstyle!!!!

Oh no... is that Q hiding in that vintage car !! What is she up to now.. that is not her car.

The car is owned by the owner of the shop we were in, someone get her out of there.  Geesh...  There is actually a whole community of vendors in the historical market.  You can see Q looking into the seamstress's shop (Curious Seamstress) where you can find historically correct fashions, and next to that is a jewelry shop. There is so much to see and explore just in this location.  0==( VINTAGE RETRO )==0 HISTORICAL MARKET STREET,

We found pill box hats, glasses,hair, jewelry, nylon stockings, shoes, poodle skirts,corsets and fashion and casual clothing, no rose tattoo, We will have to save that for another time.

You want something different?  Like character.. and want to really be someone that develops the person he/she is role playing.. you gotta check this  shop out.

Since we didn't get to spend too much time at The Open Closet Event  we sent Lady Jan back this morning for another more indepth look.  She went prepared with lindens, this is the look she came back with.

Sunday, a fun day

Well a bumpy start to the day =^_^= whole post just crashed out, hmm not to be deterred, Q will repost her picture for the retro day we planned.

Then Alo with her presentation

next is Asia who wanted to stay in her "dreamy" gown she too got from our fun night at Snowpaws Freebie and M&M board room.

We looked in on Xsa to see what she was up to, this is what we found.

The tub chair is from texture changing and from Dench Designs.

Exclusively Yours

Exclusively Yours, a shop that is a true find.  Lady Jan as you know is a roving reporter new to SL, Q, AloToi and Xsa all have been in SL for years and have their likes and favourites, Lady Jan came in brand new with the experience and knowledge of her "sisters" but, her account is brand new.  That means starting over, searching out merchants and designs that will work for her lifestyle.  It is a new perspective when you see SL through a new avatar's eyes.  So much is being offered, there are all kinds of groups you can join to take advantage of items at a lesser price.

What LJ discovered was that often you get what you pay for.  If you are brand new to SL you really don't know the difference.  But since LJ is new but has the eyes and experience of a long time player, it has been hit and miss. Then her trail took her to Exclusively Yours.  The building itself isn't spectacular, but what was being offered caught her eye, where in other shops, she could be in and out in a few minutes, she found that there was more than one item of interest.  The sale items looked good, and there was a good selection at the discounted price. ( ** paying a low price is one thing but if the quality of  your purchase lacks, you just wasted your money.)

The items purchased were so stunning and were so well designed she went back for more. This time taking the time to walk/camera the full selection being offered.  The two items shown here, were both on the special wall, ie.
Steals and Deals weekly sale  -  Super Sales Week-end.   The 1st dress shown was the first purchase, the detail, and design of the outfit, was so flattering on, Lady Jan was loath to change.  BTW the outfits come complete as shown, in other words if you see jewelry and shoes, they came with the outfit. The blue after 5 dress came with a clutch.

This was the Fifty 5  Thursday, the attention to detail, front, back, sideways, anyway you look at the outfits they look good.  Look at the necklace that came with this outfit.

The store offers not only casual but formal wear. Lady Jan did get long evening gowns too, I will insert on at the end of the blog.  Taxi will be provided, check this shop out, you will not be disappointed, there is something for almost everyone who has a serious taste for good quality and a more sophisticated look.
