Where do we begin, our personalities that we follow have been very busy pulling together wonderful venues for you. Their schedules are full, and as always we encourage you to follow them so you can know where they are appearing or what fun themes they have put together to make your nite out a fun and memorable time.

We did Mardi Gras with DJ Yume, her shows are known for the energy and rocking tunes.  She never fails to deliver..  Of note, she is now at Tango's Club
owned by DJ Tango and his charming partner Peg, on both Wednesdays and Fridays.
Mondays -  Noon til 2 PM SLT  you'll find her at The Crossroads (Blues)

Bad boy DJ Rg Papp  has been on bad ass busy man, he just put together a very popular event that featured a number of DJs in SL who had fun, competing for a nice chunk of lindens dollars.

He is the manager of the Ropes BDSM Club, and he  also plays on Fridays and Saturdays 6 -8 pm. slt.   This was the location of the Ropes' Jazz and Blues Festival that took place on the 21st. of this month.  This is an Adult Club, the only negative that we found was the limited dances offered couples.  However you can see here, that the one they do use is provocative.

The one and only Sax "master" in SL that we are following on a regular basis, is the irresistible Trowzer Boa.  We are now in a new year, and Trow has changed his bots..  I loved the old bots, thus the use of this picture.  She came and went so quickly we almost missed her, the lovely DJ Sugaree, you can see she is at Tango's on Mondays.  Had a stress filled start to the work week, you know where to head for Monday evening. You gotta watch the quiet, silent ones.  DJ Kirt participated in the Sunday Ropes' Jazz and Blues Festival, and came away with the top prize. !!  He and Star asked that we let everyone know who came out to support them and to enjoy the event, be thanked.  Consider it done.. THANK YOU!

Club Tango has become "the" place to be when you want to celebrate any event with style, last night it was "Leave your Hat on" night, featuring DJ Yume, the vibrant effervescent lovely featured Joe Cocker, the whole evening rocked from beginning to end.

Seen in the picture above is DJ Kirt who is almost ready open the doors to his new club on the water. Both he and Star were at Club Tango's for last night's shindig.  The winner for best female hat last night went to the fashionista, Covadonga Writer. When there is a theme, Cova excels at coming up with an outfit that delights.

Hanover Fiske was at the party too, he generously donated two great bikes for the party.  Hanover is a bear with character, he is a Private Eye, circus performer and picnic basket raconteur. =^_^=..  Hanover is on a quest, he is looking for a special bike that he spied years ago.. maybe you can help him out?

What is new at Pacifique, a lot the creative hostess with the mostest, Eclair (eclair.martinek) has moved and rebuilt giving us more of her stage settings to enjoy.  This picture was taken on her wonderful platform where we can skate and enjoy winter activities and not worry about frost bite.

There are many different venues that take place at Pacifique, and the folks who gather and get together have been coming for a long time.  The atmosphere is one of community.    In joining the Pacifique group, you become part of the community and get to know the artists and DJ's who perform here.

The performer that led us to these new venues is a long time performer in SL, I first saw him in RaglanShire, the very talented  Ganjo Mokeev.  Ganjo is a musician in all worlds, his sets consist of a variety of blues, funk and R&B.  He uses backing tracks when he plays, and these tracks are all done by him.  On stage he performs live with guitar.

DJ Kirt and Star are not ready for us to publish a picture yet of their new club, but we know they bought an old warehouse and are fixing it up.  Rumor has it that DJ Possum played a set there the other day to test out the acoustics.  This is another DJ that has been around for some time.. have you checked her out? People to meet, places to go

DJ Tango & Partner Peg performed at a special Sci Fi party last night, put on by DJ Sugaree and her partner Vinnie, what a time, what a fantastic build. Pictures follow in this blog.

This was our first time to experience the energy and personality of this DJ. the music is non stop, the place was jumping, you will find her at Pacifique every Friday nite.

 Unlike other clubs, there is not one landing for the different venues, so it helps to be in the group so you get the notices giving you the landing for each event.  I know not practical for those who like to plan ahead, but  this is what happens at this venue.  Is it worth the bother, well I leave that to you, I think once you've attended the rocking events, and meet the regulars, you'll want to come back for more.

 Another first, we attended the grand opening of The Pier , Ruby Island  we heard of this event through Star and DJ Kirt.  DJ. Xavia is a friend of Kirts, we were invited to tag along. The Theme was Retro, Big Bands and the DJ, didn't let us down, we were able to boogie woogie and strut the whole time we were there.

You will want to make time to explore while you are there, the owners of the venue, Emelia Sinatra and Bryan Jonstone are old hands at bringing interesting builds to SL, among them is the Elvis Presley museum.

The decor and planning for the Sci Fiction event was "out of this world" tasteful and truly enjoyable to look around to discover the fantastic finds that were pulled together to give guest the feeling of entering another dimension.
