What's happening Sunday?

Designer Circle round 82 has opened its doors... a lot happening there. With summer here, we are not wanting the same make ups, or hairdos that we wear all year round.  we saw when we went through DC 82 that there is a new (to us) Designer  there. taxi in the side bar to the right.

If you are familiar with this line, feedback would be nice.  There were a few new names to us..

What we have noticed is that more and more shoe designers are designing for the Slink foot. Nothing wrong with that, but we  know of a lot of gals who are not going Slink.  we will watch for the designers who are still creating for the regular avatar foot and keep you informed. (Designer  Circle #82)

For sure Felicity Shoes is still putting out the stilettos that we can't get enough of.  This is the shoe that is on special this week-end, The Adelle.

DJ Sky will be followed by the beautiful DJ Sugaree playing her romantic mix of Jazz and sultry songs that will have you melting on the spot.

OK dear reader, you have plenty of time to plan ahead, these are two boss DJ's who need you to be there to support and encourage their performances.

Tango's Club

The newest, hottest, bad-ass place to be club in SL.  You haven't been entertained till you drop on down to Tango's for some old fashioned fun with great music and friendly people. there is a continuous feed of great dancing music, so even if there is not a live happening at the time, you will have music to dance to.  Great atmosphere when you want to spend time with the special someone, or just "cut a rug" on your own. The best part for us was that we could dress up, look good, but not have to wear a formal gown. Tango's is a class act club, not only because of the build, but because it brings in DJ's and Live acts, that are # 1 in their field.

The dance floor is a good size, the colours are vibrant and  happy, It really has a lot going for it, not  to mention, the host and hostess Tango and Peg who have been together for a long time, their easy going manner, and pleasant banter makes for a really nice evening. There is a sploder there that seems to be a fun pastime for guests..so far we have resisted =^_^=. although the high spirited response from the winners makes it sound like a lot of fun.

Tuty's Hair department

Interesting that having done a lot of shopping and exploring at Tuty's that we somehow didn't go to the Hair division, or check out their Freebie section.All that changed yesterday. Wanting a signature hairstyle and having gone to many known places, we remembered that on landing we saw the Hair division at Tuty's, but we had always been intent on skins, shapes or animations.

This last picture is the hairstyle that won my heart. We could not resist the other  purchases too. LOL how many hairstyles can one woman have? NEVER enough. wicked smiles...

DC 72 presents Pink Cherry

Pink Cherry has gone with a traditional basic, a classic fish tail that uses simplicity to showcase your assets.  It allows you to be creative and artistic with your accessories.  Our model >Anna Shapes, Gisella< was thinking ahead to Valentines and thought to wear the red.  The red is a rich colour that leans towards a burgundy, so that it will enhance almost any skintone.  Our model is wearing makeup/skin by Tuty's, Sarah ivory skin, makeup 3 silver.

Visiting the Past

We've had fun doing retro.  The 50-60's is a lot of fun, now we are sending our model down to the 1920-s Berlin Project.  We've touched on the sim before, but really never spent that much time there.  With the cold winter, and the storms brewing what seems to be all over the North American continent, we are off to explore Berlin in the 20,30 and 40s.

It is important to note that this is a role play sim, and there is a dress code. To make it easier for you to explore the first time you arrive, there is a booth in the reception area, where participating designers have put out a couple of freebies. Before boarding the train, you must be dressed properly.  Everything is very clearly outlined for you.

Our model Chicas read the map to see if there is one place in particular she would like to start. She has already boarded the train, and has dismounted in Berlin.

This is the second dress offered by Mila Edelman of OTP (Old Time Prims) for a full selection of the merchandise carried by OTP, you can catch the taxi at the end of this blog.  Because we want to stay as authentic as possible, our model is going to go across the street to have her hair done @ the LOLA LOLA DAMEN UND HERREN FRISEUR

In our wanderings we came across two outfits at Pure Class that were rather fun, this first one, is part of a gown, we liked the corset part, with Valentine's day coming, it has a lot of potential =^_^=

This is the purple mesh gown that is available, it was the Special Wednesday deal.  It a simple gown that can be dressed up with  your favourite necklace and earrings, bangles and rings. That was its greatest appeal, it is a wonderful backdrop for your fur and other accessories that we have and don't often get to wear.
